Got an invite to look at CalendarHub’s new service. I really wasn’t sure how CalendarHub was going to differentiate itself from other services out there like AirSet or Trumba. It does look smoother than AirSet, but not as refined as Trumba. I took some screenshots to share:

Two things caught by eye immediately: the Show Tag text on the lower left and desktop client on the right. When adding an event, its possible to apply multiple tags to an event.

The tags show up on the calendar view. As expected, selecting a tag displays events associated with the tag.

A nice feature is that an event can be dragged and dropped within a view, so its easy to shuffle around events. The screenshot above was taken while an event was being moved from November 16th to November 23rd.

Its obvious that CalendarHub isn’t ready for primetime. I got tons of application error messages. The desktop client didn’t work, but its possible it couldn’t connect through the firewall. If thats the case, there was no way to set a proxy server. The ability to drag events is handy, especially within a single day view. Overall, its a nice start.
