I love keyboard shortcuts. Especially when they don’t require the use of the Alt or Ctrl keys. Bloglines, my favorite feed reader, would load up all the unread posts of a site in one page. You’d have to scroll through posts even if you didn’t want to read them.

Thats what I liked about Google Reader. Even with all its flaws (and there are plenty), you could go through the posts pretty quickly. But for some reason, there was no way of jumping for feed to feed. So I could be finished reading with the slashdot posts, but there was no way to move to the next feed without using the mouse. Irritating!

Ain’t competition grand? Now Bloglines has keyboard shortcuts. But they added a couple shortcuts that Google Reader doesn’t have yet: marking all articles as read and jumping from feed to feed. Sweet.
